Is the industry really hiring?
Yes, and it is one of the few segments of aviation that is actually expanding. Business aviation has been growing steadily for years: fleets are getting bigger, new operators keep launching, and private clients are ever more demanding about the quality of service on board. As a result, the demand for cabin crew trained in private service is real, and it far exceeds the number of genuinely prepared candidates.
My session starts in October: which rate applies?
The one at your enrollment date. Any enrollment confirmed before September 6 is definitively at €1,900, even if your session starts in October or later. The move to €2,900 on September 7 only applies to new enrollments.
Can I become a private jet flight attendant without experience?
Yes. Most of the people we mentor do not come from aviation. Hospitality, fine dining, luxury, or any other background: what matters is your sense of service, presentation, and discretion. The rest, we teach you.
What certification will I receive?
Upon completion of your assessments, you receive the VIP Flight Attendant & Silver Service Certificate, issued by The Silver Cabin Institute. It attests to what you can actually do: serve on board, set a table to private aviation standards, host demanding clients, handle the unexpected. It is a document you attach to every application, and it immediately sets you apart from unprepared candidates.
Is a cabin crew licence (CCA) required?
No. Contrary to what many believe, a cabin crew licence is not required to enter business aviation. It is one of the misconceptions that wrongly blocks the most applications.
Is there an ideal profile for this job?
No, and it is one of the industry's most stubborn myths. Private aviation does not hire based on a checklist of personal traits: it looks for poise, composure, discretion, and mastery of service. The paths that succeed in this profession are extremely varied, and experience gained elsewhere often becomes a real asset with a demanding clientele. What counts is demonstrated skill.
Do I need to speak English?
Yes, conversational English is essential, as it is the language of the industry. You do not need to be bilingual, but you must be able to hold a real conversation.
If you are not there yet, it is not a dealbreaker: we have a partnership with a qualified English teacher we regularly work with. She offers, as an option and depending on your level, a programme to follow alongside the training, also remotely. We discuss it during the call.
I already work full-time. Is it compatible?
Yes, and it is actually the case for most of the people we mentor. The programme is fully remote and self-paced: you move forward when you can, in the evening, between rotations, on weekends. Our exchanges and sessions adapt to your schedule, even irregular ones. Nobody needs to quit their job to prepare.
Is it compatible with family life?
Yes, very much so. Many business aviation professionals have families and children: it is common, and above all a matter of organisation. Trips come in waves of a few days, followed by rest periods often longer than at commercial airlines. We talk about it honestly during the call, to see how it fits with your life.
How much time do I need to commit?
The training is fully self-paced, and platform access is unlimited: the content stays available to you, without usage limits. Plan on a few hours per week for the modules and exercises. And once your training is complete, we remain available through WhatsApp support for a year.
How does enrollment work?
It all starts with a simple 15-minute phone call, free and with no commitment. We get to know each other, answer your questions, and check together that the programme fits your project and your season of life. If it does, you choose your starting session and reserve your spot. Nothing like an exam: just a real, honest conversation, both ways.
Can I follow the programme from abroad?
Yes, from anywhere in the world. The programme is fully remote, and our exchanges adapt to your time zone.
Do you guarantee a job at the end?
No, and we prefer to be honest: nobody can guarantee a job, which depends on third-party employers, current openings, and your own work. In fact, be wary of anyone who promises you a position.
Here is what we do commit to. You leave with your VIP Flight Attendant & Silver Service Certificate, which attests to what you can actually do and immediately sets you apart from unprepared candidates. You leave with a CV rewritten for private aviation, the sourcing contacts, and the standards recruiters expect from the very first interview. And we stay by your side for up to a year after the programme, all the way to your first flight.
The certificate opens the door. The rest, we do together.
Is the training intensive?
No, and that is by design. The training is fully asynchronous: no fixed class times, no imposed deadlines, no way to fall behind. You move at your own pace, a few hours a week, from your phone if you like. Most finish within a few weeks; some go faster, others take their time, and both are perfectly fine. The only date that matters is your session start date. Then: a training to learn, a full year of mentoring to get there.
Why not prepare on my own with what I can find online?
You can try, and some people do for years. The problem is not motivation: it is that the real information is not online. The standards of private service, what recruiters actually expect, the operators that are hiring. What you find for free leads you where everyone else already goes. This programme exists precisely to train you in what cannot be found anywhere.
What makes you different from other trainings?
Three things. Your trainers are still flying today: what we teach you, we practise on board every week. You are mentored one-on-one, never lost in a group. And we do not disappear after the last module: support continues for up to a year, all the way to your first flights. Most trainings sell content. Here, you have a team.
Are there any costs beyond the programme?
No. The price includes everything: the 45 modules, the mentoring, the corrections, the interview prep video calls, the booklets, the certificate, and the one-year follow-up. The only optional extra, if you need it, is the English programme with our partner teacher.
What happens after the call, concretely?
If together we decide to move forward, you choose your session, we send you the agreement, and your spot is reserved upon the first payment. You receive your access when the session starts. And if it is not the right time, we tell you honestly, with no follow-up pressure: you walk away with a clear picture, that is all.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, several installment options are available, with no complicated paperwork. We discuss them during the call.
What does the Silver Cabin Institute Mentorship include?
